Oh, we've enjoyed this novel! Roland Smith's "Thunder Cave" is a rollicking great read, and we only have about 40 pages left. So exciting.

Reminder:
Next week we release the salmon on Tuesday afternoon. I still haven't received permission from all parents, and I am also asking for help with driving if you have the time.

Social Studies test next week for Grade 6s.
Grade 6 students should be studying for an upcoming test next week. Students need to be prepared to show what they know about the content from pp. 68-88 in the text book.

Grade 5s need to know about the 5 forms of energy used in Canada (p. 137 in the Gr. 5 text).
Also, read "The Trade in Fur" p. 140/141.

Any student who is late handing in their descriptive writing should have that for me first thing Monday morning.

Math:
Gr. 5: Complete the drawings (p. 248 # 1) (M)
Gr. 6: Complete the most recent triangles handout page (M).

Science "good copy" write-ups are due as soon as possible. Data in table format should be done on the computer, not by hand with a pencil. Sketches with colour and labels can be done by hand to augment the "Procedures" section if so desired.
